Cheshire, United Kingdom (8th April 2013) – Digital agency Click Consult is excited at the prospect of Facebook’s new ‘Home’ programme for Android smartphones.

In an announcement on its Newsroom section on 4 April, the California based organisation introduced its new programme, Facebook Home, which “lets you see the world through people, not apps.” Facebook says that Home is designed so that users can have their smartphone based around the social networking site, rather than having to access an app to access their notifications. Instead, a cover feed will replace a phone’s home lock screen and will be used to stream updates and news from Facebook. Home will also have ‘chat heads’ at every point, allowing users to chat with their Facebook friends even when using other apps.

Home will be available on the Google Play Store from 12 April and can be used on the HTC One X, HTC One X+, Samsung GALAXY S III and Samsung GALAXY Note II.
