Bank of Cyprus UK Migrate to DataStoreDSX

Slough, UK (9th November, 2012) – Hitec Laboratories, a leading provider of software solutions to enterprises around the world, announces that Bank of Cyprus UK, a long-standing Hitec DataStore customer of over 12 years, has migrated to DataStoreDSX, Hitec’s 4th generation Enterprise Content Management Solution.

DataStore was first implemented at the Bank in 2000 to decrease manual processes, replace legacy microfilm and to enable an online document imaging strategy to manage cheques, internal debits and credits, plus automate end-of-day report archiving from Equation within a central secure system.

Following regular updates and several core system integrations over the last 12 years, Bank of Cyprus UK have now migrated to DataStoreDSX, incorporating all existing functionality and more, in order to future-proof their investment.

Jeremy Crame, Hitec CEO said: “I am delighted that one of our oldest customers continues to benefit from our DataStore solutions, and I am proud that our 12 year relationship with the Bank is being extended even further”.

Bank of Cyprus UK rely on DataStoreDSX every day throughout their business, not only to capture and archive content effectively but to re-use and deliver it, in order to deliver smooth internal processes and excellent customer service.

Fundamental to all customer service and account management roles, DataStoreDSX is seamlessly integrated with SalesForce CRM, making available all relevant content relating to each client at the operator’s fingertips, including full text search for detailed or complex queries, all via the Salesforce portal that the user is familiar with.

DataStoreDSX is also fully integrated with the bank’s cheque processing software to handle daily transactional activities, such as SWIFTS, Bank Giro Credits, Credit Transfers, Fixed Assets and Supplier Invoices.

During the migration process, over 50 million reports, business documents and customer statements were transferred using Hitec’s sophisticated Mapping Tool for the migration of metadata between DataStore32 and DataStoreDSX.

Scalable and flexible, DataStoreDSX is built on the latest Microsoft .NET technology and uses ClickOnce “Smart Clients” for ease of deployment, giving Bank of Cyprus UK a future-proofed investment with no limitations for growth.
