Ebeepbeep Urge Drivers to Undertake Essential Servicing

Chester, United Kingdom, (15th March, 2012) – ebeepbeep, an online car service and MOT booking website designed to save drivers money, comment on a recent survey and the importance of undertaking a full vehicle service.

According to the website ebeepbeep, now is not the time for drivers to skimp on car servicing. Many motorists are feeling the pinch of rising fuel costs and insurance premiums; however, ebeepbeep suggest that missing key car service intervals is both a false economy and potentially dangerous.

A recent survey showed that less than one third of drivers regularly check their vehicle’s brakes. The study also found that the main reason drivers did not check the condition of the brakes was due to a lack of knowledge, as the majority of vehicle owners stated they did not know how to check them.

“We encourage motorists to regularly check their brakes for their own safety. If they are unsure how to test them then we recommend they visit their local independent garage. Ideally brakes should be inspected frequently or, at the very least, have a full car service which means that drivers will have their brakes checked once a year,” commented Andrew Wilson of ebeepbeep. “With living costs rising and household budgets being squeezed, it may be tempting to skip a service. However, car servicing helps identify any problems before they manifest into a more serious repair.”

For more information on ebeepbeep and their online car servicing, visit their website at http://www.ebeepbeep.com/ or telephone 0844 736 0055.
