TROLEX FORMS NEW INDUSTRIAL DIVISION

Trolex, one of the leading manufacturers of sensors and sensing systems, has just formed a new Industrial Division within the company.

It reflects the company’s response to the growing markets in oil and gas, powergen and power distribution, and the water utilities and metal industries.

The new Trolex Industrial Division is headed up by Gus Bol who has been appointed Trolex Global Director Industrial Sales, having formerly been a director of Crowcon Instruments with over 30 years’ experience in manufacturing gas detection equipment.  Commenting on the formation of the new Industrial Division, Trolex managing director Glyn Pierce-Jones said, “This is a new era for Trolex.  We plan to mirror the success and reputation we have in the mining market with this new focus on industry.”  He continued, “The company has recently invested some £3 million in product development putting Trolex at the forefront of systems and sensor design for safety with products like the new Sentro 8, an integrated multi-purpose sensing station.  By 2013, we plan to see £10 million sales from this new Industrial Division.”

Gus Bol sees his new appointment as an exciting challenge.  “I have always viewed Trolex as a professional supplier of specialist sensors and systems for heavy industries, particularly mining,” said Gus.  “It’s great to join the company and to be part of a strong and enthusiastic team and I will be using my marketing experience in explosion-proof instrumentation to take Trolex into new heavy industry markets around the world.”

Further information on Trolex activities is available from Trolex Ltd on 0161 483 1435, email info@trolex.com or by visiting the company’s website at www.trolex.com.
