Thalys – summer promotions

A small price to pay, literally, to travel in first class, with Thalys! This summer thanks to the Rail Europe Summer Promotions, those of you who are planning to travel between France and Belgium or the Netherlands and Germany will pay less.. much less, to travel on board the Thalys. The offer is valid for sales between the 11th of July and the 24th of August 2012. Better hurry to book your ticket, before all places are taken. The offer will be valid on the most popular Thalys routes. The travel date to travel in 1st class on board the Thalys is as from the 23rd of July and up to the 26th of August 2012. The following routes will feature in the Thalys 1st class promotion: Brussels to/from Amsterdam, Paris to Brussels, Brussels to Paris , Paris to/from Cologne and Paris to/from Amsterdam.

Passengers travelling in first class will have many free services on board. If some travellers might be pondering what they will get in the first class on board the Thalys, here’s what is play: Large comfortable and reclining seats, generous legroom, free magazines and newspapers, free Wi-Fi Internet connection throughout the journey, meal served at seat, power sockets for your laptop or mobile phone, access to first class lounges at Amsterdam, Rotherham and Cologne.

In the morning, a breakfast is served in the first class on board the Thalys. Passengers can choose between a sweet or salty breakfast which are made up of pastry, fruits, cakes, croissant, cheese, juice and a hot drink. A great way to feel energetic before getting off at your destination!

This first class promotion came after another great Thalys promotion this summer, the Child promotion which was greatly beneficial to families who are accompanied by a child as they got a 50% discount on the child fares in second class on board the Thalys.

The first class promotion, available through Rail Europe, makes it even more attraction for travellers to use Thalys for city centre to city centre connection in Europe. Thalys, the high speed train, also offers book early tickets – a great way to buy tickets at an attractive price.
