Wolfestone Sponsors Kidsafe UK for Second Consecutive Year

Swansea, United Kingdom (17th May, 2012) – Wolfestone Translation, a market-leading language translation company offering translation and voiceover services across all languages, have extended their partnership with children’s road safety charity Kidsafe UK.

Managing the 14th fastest-growing company in Wales is a full-time job, but Wolfestone Translation directors Roy Allkin and Anna Bastek believe in making time for things that matter. Wolfestone’s commitment to social responsibility has been underlined by a second consecutive year as sponsors of Kidsafe UK.

After a year of positive results, the renewal was a very easy decision. The charity, which promotes education in road safety knowledge, is a major success story and is expanding across the UK. Over 7,000 road accidents involving children are reported every year, and Kidsafe works hard to bring that number down to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children in the UK. Kidsafe view Wolfestone as key partners and their spokespeople were delighted to keep the winning team together.

A spokesperson for the charity said: “Wolfestone’s continued support has made a significant difference to the safety of our children. All of us at Kidsafe are grateful to Wolfestone for their commitment to keeping kids a little safer.”

Since Wolfestone began trading in 2006, the company has been shortlisted for 23 major business awards, and following a 500% increase in turnover over the past three years, it now employs 28 people. With further expansion and acquisition plans underway, the company stands to double in size before the end of 2012. Alongside this impressive growth has been an equally impressive commitment to reach out to the wider community.

In addition to Kidsafe, Wolfestone is a notable contributor to Refugee Action, Help for Heroes, Dynamo Project, local rugby and football clubs, universities and schools and the Christian Lewis Trust.

Wolfestone Director Anna Bastek believes healthy ethics and healthy profit margins can go hand in hand:

“While we continue to build the business, we’re also building bridges in the community. We’ve succeeded commercially by investing in our staff and our procedures. We can encourage success in the community by investing in excellent partners such as Kidsafe UK.

“We all have roads to cross every day, and in every walk of life. Whether we’re helping young people cross the road from full-time education into the job market or helping clients cross the road into overseas trade, Wolfestone can help. Nowhere is that help more important and more satisfying than in our partnership with Kidsafe.”
