At the only annual fair that Chic Teak currently attends, held locally to the area of Basingstoke in support of the Wellbeing of Women charity, the company showcased a sample of their range of teak garden furniture to potential customers. The range included a prototype teak rocking chair, exclusively designed and manufactured by Chic Teak, which was available to pre-order as part of a special offer.
The rocking chair is set to go into production at the end of May 2011, for delivery in the UK from September onwards. Chic Teak explained that having experimented with various design styles, ultimately there was unanimous agreement amongst the design and manufacturing team about which was the most comfortable, aesthetically pleasing and functional, and that the prototype design will be the one that becomes available later this month.
“The fair was a huge success and we were delighted to attend. This was a great opportunity for us to show our support for the Wellbeing of Women charity and also to introduce our new ranges of teak products,” commented Sarah Bowden of Chic Teak. “In conjunction with the new rocking chair, we also displayed our luxury range of planters at the event – one of which was donated as a tombola prize – and the popular Mariposa round teak table, available in five different sizes to suit all preferences and requirements.”
