Alan Scott has recently been appointed as Mining Sales Engineer for leading manufacturer of combustible gas detectors for hazardous areas and mining safety, Trolex.
Having previous experience as an underground electrician, systems engineer and service engineer for major organisations within the mining sector such as Davis Derby and UK Coal at Welbeck Colliery, Alan has the knowledge and proficiency necessary to ensure that Trolex is professionally represented to customers and internal departments at all times.
Alan’s responsibilities will also include servicing the requirements of the general mining and mineral extraction sector, whilst also maintaining long-term relationships with existing customers.
Alan’s technical knowledge of instrumentation, electronics and mining will mean that customers’ needs are met through his technical support. His experience within the sector will also allow him to demonstrate how Trolex products meet the needs of the customer, solving any problems that they might have regarding mining safety. Some of his work will also involve him attending exhibitions, both in the UK and overseas.
