Liverpool, United Kingdom, (22nd February, 2012) – Liverpool ONE, a large shopping and leisure destination in the heart of Liverpool, has launched its ‘Big Red Chair’ initiative with Juice FM Breakfast Show presenters, Adam Weighell and Leanne Campbell.
The stylish red leather chair, provided by BoConcept and the Home Quarter, will host a series of vox pops with the public, visiting celebrities and expert ‘guests’ at Liverpool ONE, filmed by local students at the Liverpool Media Academy. The public can pull up a chair and have their say on the latest hot topics. A selection of footage will be uploaded to the Liverpool ONE Official YouTube channel.
During launch week, hot topics have included ‘what’s the best or worst date you’ve ever been on’, ‘give us your best chat up line’ and the all-important question ‘who would make the best Mayor of Liverpool and why?’
Commenting on the activity, Donna Howitt, Marketing Director at Liverpool ONE, said: “We want Liverpool ONE’s customers to have fun and enjoy their experience when they visit. The Big Red Chair has been attracting crowds of shoppers who want to see what’s going on and get involved. People have been really keen to sit and talk to the camera and we’ve already had some real characters in the seat and some brilliant answers. We look forward to bringing the chair out throughout the year for our shoppers.”
