Belfast (May 16, 2010) – Kelsius, market leader in the provision of wireless temperature monitoring solutions for the pharma, healthcare and food sectors, announce the successful deployment of its first healthcare system in the Middle East.
Working closely with its partner in the region, Al Aberah, Kelsius has successfully installed its wireless to web temperature monitoring system in the Madinat Zayed Hospital. The Madinat Zayed is one of the largest hospitals within the six hospital Al Gharbia Group, which is in turn managed by the renowned SEHA Group.
By utilising the Kelsius wireless sensor network and software as a service, temperature data from all fridges and freezers are monitored and the data is presented live online and can be easily accessed from any web enabled PC. If temperatures deviate outside of set parameters then staff members are alerted via audio and visual alarms, text messages and e-mail.
Local partner, Al Alberah, chose Kelsius as its manufacturer of choice because of the strength of technology, ease of use, ease of installation and the strong Kelsius reputation within other markets. Al Aberah is confident the Kelsius technology can easily be rolled out across the rest of the hospitals within the Al Gharbia group over the coming months.
