Michael beat off competition from five other property entrepreneurs and was given the award at the Mere Golf and Country Club. urbanbubble also won an award from Downtown Business Mancoolian Awards for their charity contributions with the Factory Youth Zone.
The Factory Youth Zone is a facility for young people aged 8 to 21 based in Harpurhey in Manchester. urbanbubble decided to make The Factory Youth Zone its chosen charity and has since raised thousands of pounds as well as employed two young people through their supply chain. They also set up a Christmas Carols by Candlelight Party for their customers and colleagues with the children from the youth centre.
Downtown in Business, from whom the award was given, is a business organisation that provide leadership for the private sector, articulating views of its members to public sector organisations, as well as providing various networking opportunities.
