Artisan Galleries Announce Exhibition of Bob Dylan Paintings

Essex, United Kingdom (18 July, 2011)Artisan Galleries, a leading online supplier of affordable fine art with five celebrated galleries across London, are pleased to announce that they are now exhibiting a new collection of graphics drawn by Bob Dylan, as well as being in possession of one of the most iconic pieces from the collection.

In 1994, Bob Dylan had several of his drawings published in the book Random House, and in October 2007 his exhibition, The Drawn Blank Series, featured at the Kunstsammlungen in Chemnitz, Germany. Following the exhibition, a book of his paintings was released and included 170 reproductions of his art series, the paintings incorporated over two-hundred water colours which were inspired by his collection of drawings.

Artisan Galleries have recently announced that they are releasing an updated version of the exhibit, The Drawn Blank Series 2011, to celebrate the legendary artists 70th birthday.  The exhibition will consist of eight graphics that are limited to just 295 editions worldwide, and they are currently on display in the gallery.  Visitors to the affordable fine arts supplier will now have the opportunity to own a spectacular piece of art by one of the most revered cultural icons of our generation.

Artisan Galleries also announced that they now have the original Bob Dylan painting ‘Dad’s Restaurant’ available for sale.  This original painting is taken from Dylan’s The Drawn Blank Series, and this stunning image proved to be one of the most popular pieces across the artist’s collections. Artisan Galleries believe that this is an extremely collectable piece with a crossover audience of both art and music lovers around the world.
